    優點(dian):機械密封設(she)有由彈性元件、鋪助密封圓等構(gòu)成的軸向磨損補償機構，因此其(qí)洩漏量極小；壽命長，一般為1~2年:對抽的摩擦(cā)小；可自動運行而不(bú)需在運行時調正(zheng)；功率損失小，隻有填料密封的(de)1/3-1/10,耐(nai)振動性好；使用廣泛；目前轉速可(kě)達17000r/min，壓力達到30MPa。
    缺點(diǎn):零件多(duo)，精度高(gao)，相應造(zào)價高；由(yóu)于動密(mi)封面垂直于(yú)旋轉軸線，所(suǒ)以安裝時的對中非(fei)常重要。
